The swamp has no chance to vote. This was the message that Socialist leader Edi Rama addressed to the citizens during a meeting where the Socialist candidates for deputies in the Tirana District were presented.
Rama said that on May 11, Albanians should not vote in the swamp, but neither in the other swamps that have been created, adjacent to the swamp.
"Have you noticed, we really travel without visas, but as we pass through there we are confronted by that policeman, who waits in line and tells us how much money you have with you, have you booked a hotel, how many days you will stay, when you will leave. So before you enter properly, they tell you when you will leave. Whereas with that European passport in your pocket, you pass through there without waiting in line and without asking who you are leaving when," said Rama.
The socialist leader has called on citizens to leave the short-eared owl to its fate on May 11, and with your vote, smile at Albania's European destiny.
"Take a look at our team, our closed list is with young people, there are more women and girls, and it contains the philosophy of this team and our vision, as a new party. With this team, we have made an investment for SP 2030.
"Look at the closed list of the swamp owls. Their list is like a hole in a tree, where the swamp owl sits and then the little owls come out. This is a list for the opposition, so that when the owl is gone, there is no one there to tell the owl: enough," Rama said.
