Agron Shehaj, leader of the Opportunity Party, has responded to Flamur Noka's accusations that he collaborates with Edi Rama.
During a meeting in Kavaja, Shehaj said that if the DP had fought Rama as he did, Rama would probably not be in power today.
He stated that the goal of the political force he represents is not simply political rotation, but change.
"They have started to get annoyed by our conversations and messages and by what we want to do and they tell us that we are against the opposition. We don't just want political rotation, we want change. We are the party that represents those who are not satisfied with political rotation, we want change, that's why we are here. Now they have brought out Flamur Noka who attacks me and says Agron collaborates with Rama. If they had fought Rama the way I fought, maybe Rama wouldn't be in power today," he said.
Underlining the importance of the Tirana district in these elections, Shehaj said that change will start precisely from there.
Shehaj called on citizens to vote for the party he leads on May 11.
"The obstacle for every Albanian is the state and the governments that tell them we will make you richer. Kavaja is important, because it is also part of the Tirana district and the change will start from the Tirana district. We want to collect votes and reach out to everyone, focus on the youth, this is important," he said.
