Former Democratic MP, Ervin Salianji, has reacted to the recent developments in Venezuela, describing them as a hope for change in Albania as well.
In a post on social media, Salianji writes that events in Venezuela show that regimes that are sustained by crime, corruption, and oppression are temporary.
The democrat further said that when international justice moves, no power built on fear is safe.
"A new dawn for Venezuela, a great hope for a new dawn in Albania. For those who say that the United States does not have the instruments to change criminal regimes, it is enough to take a look at the Venezuelan gangster. Regimes that are maintained by crime, corruption and oppression may seem strong, but they are temporary. When international justice moves, no power built on fear is safe. Even in Albania, whoever thinks that power based on gangs, manipulation and the capture of institutions is eternal is gravely mistaken. The history of criminal regimes has a common end: collapse!", writes Salianji
