
The Socialist Party may withdraw from the initial project to own the Special Electoral Reform Commission with a majority of members.
The chairman of the Socialist parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, has extended his hand for cooperation to his Democratic colleague, Gazment Bardhi, to discuss the term of equality of members on Wednesday, at the Conference of Speakers. The tolerance for the electoral system, however, is not reflected by the majority for the other special commission, the one for territorial reform.
The competition for the position of Ombudsman will open for the umpteenth time in the Assembly, but this time, with 83 green cards, the majority does not intend to be conditioned by tradition, according to which the agreed name had to come from the opposition.
For more than 11 years in power, the Socialist Party has had no reason to protest. But this Friday, the socialists will also take to the streets in defense of the KLA's war. For this reason, at the group meeting, Balla asked all left-wing deputies to commit to the protest on Friday, which will be held in Tirana. /A2CNN
