The head of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, declared that today the candidate for the position of Ombudsman will be voted on in the Assembly, despite the opposition's opposition, which has requested the reopening of the process.
Balla also published the list of signatures of opposition MPs who supported candidate Endri Shabani. He also mocked Flamur Noka, saying that it was Ervin Salianji who convinced the MPs to sign for Shabani.
Balla also responded to Flamur Noka, who had previously called him 'ignorant', reminding him of the November 28 gaffe.
"In today's session, we approve the budget along with the fiscal package. This is the most important issue, as we appear before the people with the largest budget in history and with many good things that have given us the honor of representing them in the Assembly as a majority."
You also have an important session, but your seriousness towards the causes you leave on the road is insufficient and this is a mockery. We discussed an important debate on the OSCE-ODIHR report. It would be honest on your part to stop and find a time for this debate, for the citizens to follow. But you are mocking all the causes you are initiating. These are us. The vice-chairman of the party and the members of the leadership have signed. And this one, Flamur, will insult us, when he doesn't even know when the flag was raised, this is the end of the world.
"These people said that Ervin Salianji convinced them. You also brought us the internal problems of your party here. We have been violating the law for 1,250 days as an Assembly, and you have never reached a consensus among yourselves. Today we will vote for the Ombudsman with the candidacies that you have proposed," said Balla.
