The majority and the opposition are engaged in intense debates in this Thursday's plenary session.
Mundësia Party MP Agron Shehaj accused the government of attempting to "steal" the candidate for People's Advocate from the opposition.
Shehaj calls on Democrats to accept the continuation of the selection process despite the withdrawal of signatures.
Among other things, Shehaj says that at the KLP where the new head of SPAK is being selected, the hall is filled with ambassadors and internationals, as they fear that the process could be intimidated by the government.
Further, Shehaj requested clarification regarding Prime Minister Rama's absence from the hall regarding the interpellation requested of him.
"Despite the ridiculous positions, it is clear that the Ombudsman belongs to the opposition. It is clear that you have decided to kidnap him and this is not surprising. Now that we are talking, the new head of SPAK is being installed in another hall and all the ambassadors are gathered there, there is no room for journalists because they are afraid that you will kidnap the new head of SPAK as well. Imagine what humiliation the ambassadors are doing to you. We invite our opposition colleagues to admit that there is nothing we can do, they have decided to kidnap him.
"I requested an interpellation, we asked you whether or not the prime minister will be there and you did not give me an answer. If it is not the prime minister, I request that the interpellation be postponed. Your practice of avoiding confrontation is contrary to the regulations. What is the point of delegating a minister?" said Shehaj.
