The head of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, convened the College of Presidents today, this said that "the abuse of IPARD funds, yesterday took its first victim", the dismissal of the Minister of Agriculture, Frida Krifca.
Basha has warned that he will create parliamentary investigative commissions for the abuses of EU IPARD funds, while he also expressed his opposition to the Rama government's proposal to tax properties.
"One of the basic values is the fight against corruption and this is an immediate national priority, for this, the Presidency has decided to set up parliamentary investigative commissions for the abuse of IPARDI funds, since yesterday, this abuse took its first victim. This is not the end but the beginning of transparency and accountability and legal for this abuse that shows the dimension of corruption in Albania.
It is not enough to steal and abuse the taxes of Albanians, but there is no scruples about stealing the taxes of European citizens, which were intended for the Albanian farmer, but were intended for government villas and luxury.
The same for strategic investors, where there is nothing strategic except the connection of the government with organized crime, which was proven by Metamorfoza, and the operations of SPAK, Interpol and Europol", said Basha .
