Democratic leader Sali Berisha declared during a media conference that the opposition will continue with the protests, while warning of their better organization.
Asked about the presence of the deputies, Berisha said that they were all in the protest, but the issue of where they should stand is a controversial issue.
"For some, they should be at the forefront of the protest, for others, they ask to stay with groups of citizens from their areas. And this has not yet received an answer. Let me tell you, where I was, about three meters away was a deputy. A fellow citizen of his wrote to me 'I didn't see that man anywhere', but he was actually there. I told him that he was.
But should they be better organized? I completely agree. Not only with the MPs, but in general the DP or the organizers of the protest should do a more thorough job of the large number of people who are there.
This is a peaceful protest. If we change this protest from peaceful to another form, I guarantee that that mass of people cannot be handled by any police. It is a fact. If we were to call on them to come to the protest by any means, there is no police force that can handle a protest of even 4-5 thousand citizens. No, this is known. But we have been, are and will be for peaceful protests", said Berisha.
