Democratic leader Sali Berisha has warned that the February 28 protest will be diversified in terms of opposition activity and action.
During a media conference, Berisha declared that Saturday (February 28) is the day of peaceful uprising.
"Citizens are eagerly awaiting this opportunity to express their anger, their revolt, their hatred towards thieves. And it will be a revolt, an uprising, I would say the most powerful that the country has ever known."
It will not be of the kind you have seen. Now, the uprising is moving into the phase of diversifying its actions and activities. You will be informed about all of this in accordance with the decisions that will be taken.
"But Saturday is the day of the opposition's triumph, of the Albanians' triumph over the thieves," Berisha said.
Asked about how this protest should be conducted, Berisha said that of course he has ideas, but before the necessary decisions to call them a platform, he does not have to make the ideas public. "They should be decided jointly with my collaborators," he said.
