The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, during the parliamentary group meeting declared that December 22, the date when the national protest will be held, will be the beginning of their protests until Rama is overthrown.
According to Berisha, only through protests can they remove the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
"Rama remains in power because we are not on the streets protesting to show the dictatorships their place. We now have every right to stand by our mission. Honorable deputies, it is imperative that in your meetings with citizens, we call on the brave and the resistant, and not to accept the verdict that Edi Rama has dictated to us. In other words, let us not accept this fate that he has dictated to us.
"Let's stand up in this context, Monday, December 22 at 6:00 PM, is the beginning of our protest. Let's be clear that we only have one path of protest, protest until Rama leaves. Without sustainable protests, the narco-dictatorships will not go away. We will be more, but first of all, there is nothing more important than the decision of each of us what we will do more," said Berisha.
