Prime Minister Edi Rama has whetted the appetite for May 11th.
He has set a target for his party to get 1 million votes. The statement was made at an event with young people in Durrës, confirming that Rama aims to get a qualified majority in these elections.
He also demanded that in the coastal city, the SP secure a 9th mandate, out of the 8 it currently has.
" The Albanians will do the math on May 11, as they should. So we should aim not for 800 thousand, but for 1 million votes. That should be the limit we should aim for. We should come out of May 11 with more than 900 thousand votes. It is easy to say but difficult to do. We should aim to get the ninth mandate of the deputy in Durrës. Do your best for your peers to come to vote and get their passports. It is really not worth discussing... we are not even in front of them, we are behind them. They are chasing us with screams and growls. I am convinced that they got the maximum possible in 2021 and will not achieve more than that result. While we have not yet got the maximum. I hope that as has happened in the past, in the upcoming elections, Durrës will be a significant example of victory ," he said.
