Edi Rama's sudden decision to bring Pandeli Majko from Kukësi was made only on Saturday at dinner.
When the last survey showed that his three ministers that he has brought to the capital; Blendi Gonxhe, Dalina Ibrahimaj and Ogerta Manastirliu are ranked among the least preferred candidates in the district of Tirana.
Meanwhile, in Dibër, a survey pointed out that the current Minister of the Interior that Babloku has planned to run the district was almost unknown by the left voters.
Sources in the SP emphasize that Rama decided quickly to bring Pandeli Majko to Tirana at the last minute and to replace him with Shalsi in Kukës district.
Kukës was almost welded to Pandi, with the logic that the prime minister of Kosovo's war is the best suited to deal with the residents of Kukës, Has and Tropoja, in order to maximize the vote. In fact, Majko, who went as district leader in Kukës before the local elections of 2023, has managed to win 2 out of three municipalities there, calmly managing the crisis created by Safet Gjic's sexual scandal.
The decision to return to Tirana was a last-minute one, since Minister Dalina Ibrahimaj, who has been assigned the largest electoral area in Tirana since 2023, unit 5, is slipping more and more 'under her feet' every day. In a survey that was quickly conducted by the company that the SP agreed to for the parliamentary elections, it showed that Pandeli Majko was still popular among the militants and voters of the left. Therefore, Rama decided to make a strong move, even out of fear that the base of the SP has suffered a disappointment from the way the prime minister is treating the Socialist Party of the capital.
Blendi Gonxhe, so far has not even managed to touch the real base of the SP in Kombinat and the part of Yzberish, but has only met a platoon of strong people who are on the list of ministers' agendas or taken from the bloc of Olta Xhaçka's husband , which once covered that area.
Manastirliu, who has been winning in Tirana for several elections and has covered unit 9, namely that of Don Bosco, as a leader brought by Rama, has tried to enter the territory of the organizations of unit 7, but was received very badly.
Until now, the coordinators of the electoral work groups only fight and insult each other as there is overlap and duplication in almost all areas.
In the SP Whatsapp groups, there are only tense nerves and mutual accusations. Edi Rama, it seems, has brought Pandeli Majko, also to reconcile the heated blood in the SP, as a result of the overlapping of the political direction by Edi Rama, through his ministers.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, had a bad situation in Vorë, Rrogozhinë and Kavajë, while in Kamëz the situation was better.
These days, it is expected that Edi Rama himself will go down to the organizations of Tirana, where he has planned to hold a big meeting in the sports palace in the "Dinamo" complex. But before that, he asked Majko to negotiate with all those militants who are unhappy with the Bablok elections.
