Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu says that 2025 will be the year of the PD-SP coalition against SPAK, where according to him both parties will join forces to prevent the extension of the mandate of the SPAK leader and prosecutors. According to him, SPAK is the enemy of both political groups.
" They all have a common enemy, they have an opponent. These are very special elections, where the main forces do not oppose each other. The year 2025 will be the anti-SPAK coalition, DP and SP will join the votes not to continue the mandate of the Duman and SPAK prosecutors. I have information that DP and SP will not extend the mandate of SPAK leaders and prosecutors. The mandate will be 9 years for those who are ordinary prosecutors and 3 years for leaders. This will not happen only if the SP will get 93 MPs to change the Constitution. It may be that the Americans tell Rama that the responsibility is unilateral, either change the Constitution to extend Duman's term or step down as prime minister. Only in this case, if he is faced with the fact that he leaves the post, Rama can extend Duman's mandate ", said Spahiu.
Commenting on Berisha's appearance at SPAK, the lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu says on Report TV that prosecutors are no longer the bravest of Albania, but they are also human beings with feelings and fears. According to him, the independence of justice is relative and is influenced by the conscience of each prosecutor and judge.
He also emphasized that Berisha won the political battle with the system and that this criminal process will not have a final decision before 2028.
" Some people say that justice is a branch of SP and Rama, another part says that SPAK does what Soros tells it. Another part says that justice depends on the Americans. Another part says it is independent, I would say that there is no absolute independence even in the USA. At its core, independence is in the conscience of each prosecutor and judge. Every prosecutor of the case is the leader, leader in that case. It can be completely independent, it can have this political feeling, sometimes left and sometimes right. Berisha has won the political battle with the system, he is stronger. I don't know what will happen in court, will be declared guilty or innocent, I have stated that this criminal process will not have a final decision before 2028 for Berisha. As long as Berisha has not been hindered in his constitutional activity, of his mandate as a deputy, I think that all this storm has given Berisha more political capital and he is not a king annihilated by a scheme. From this scheme, the socialists are more discredited by the SPAK strikes than the democrats. I don't think that the socialists have been hit politically, but due to the corruption files, the public image of the socialists and the democrats have been destroyed, and Berisha is winning in a process that is not yielding results , said Spahiu.
