The Democrats led by Sali Berisha are holding their second protest today in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, which is in the format of a 'citizen's parliament' where MPs and various participants can give speeches and deliver their messages.
This is the second protest in a week that the Democrats have held in front of Prime Minister Edi Rama's office, as they demand his removal from power.
The protest will be held at 6:00 PM, while a week ago there was a small presence of citizens. But according to the Democrats, these are not mass protests, but aim to raise awareness among the international community, but also among citizens, about what is happening in the Parliament hall.
The reason for launching this form of protest, according to the Democrats, is related to the lack of space for the opposition in Parliament.
According to the DP, the majority is obstructing the opposition voice in the Assembly hall, which has forced opposition MPs to speak out in the squares.
Berisha has announced that these formats will be weekly, while only the DP branches in Tirana are engaged.
