A meeting with incumbent ministers, meetings with political leaders, a meeting of the National Assembly are the steps that will be followed until the names of the Government that will be voted on in September are made public...
In the last week of July, Prime Minister Edi Rama convened a meeting of ministers and regional political leaders of the Socialist Party (SP) to analyze the performance of each member of the government cabinet and their subordinates, including the Agencies subordinate to the line Ministries.
A week after this meeting, Rama and his ministers began their vacation, but leaving a message to their subordinates who are anxiously awaiting whether they will continue to hold their posts: to monitor the terrain and meet with citizens.
It seems that this routine message has nothing to do with the fact that in the new Government, that of the 4th consecutive term as Prime Minister after the victory in the May 11 elections, Edi Rama will determine the 'political fate' of the current ministers by what they will do during the month of August.
The action for what he called 'liberating public spaces' continues to be held by Rama as a key issue, at least for the general public, where from time to time, the Prime Minister posts videos or photos of how the fadroma demolish some iron structure or building, including car washes.
It seems that this situation will continue until the last week of August, when it seems that the holidays will also end, while Rama will announce, through a now familiar procedure, the composition of the government cabinet.
A meeting with incumbent ministers, meetings with political leaders, a meeting of the Socialist Party's National Assembly, and some people who appear surprised when they hear their name being announced as part of the Government that expects to receive a vote of confidence in September, with the start of the new Parliament.
It is learned that everything is planned to happen between August 24-31, when it seems that the Prime Minister will also dot the 'i's' with those who currently hold a ministerial position, but also with others who lead the most important agencies.
But other positions are also at stake, starting from the Speaker of the Assembly, the Head of the Parliamentary Group, or even the heads of the Parliamentary Commissions that will be controlled by the Socialists. With a parliamentary group, where most of the members are figures without at least some political experience, what remains to be seen is whether or not the Prime Minister will experiment with entrusting them with responsibilities, or will he rely on the 'cuff' of experienced MPs.
Previous developments have shown that "Bablok" experiments and it is not surprising that names that do not belong to active political life are placed in ministerial positions. What is at least affirmed from within the SP is the fact that the current quota of women's representation in government, but also in the leadership structure of Parliament, will be maintained.
And it is also reported that for months, on the desk of the Leader of the Socialist Party, who is also the Prime Minister, there has been a list of names belonging to the diaspora, which is no surprise that they have received proposals to engage in key positions, even though it is a process that is being kept 'hermetic' by Rama.
Currently, Rama has chosen the south of the country to spend his holidays with his family, while reports indicate that he has stopped political meetings with most members of the Government or the leadership structure in the Socialist Party, which could perhaps be a signal of what will come next and which is related precisely to the political future of many of them. / Pamphlet /
