"He requested that the boy be granted orphan status", Veliaj: Ols

Veliaj said that his son's toys found in the beach house are not proof that it is his hidden wealth!

Mayor Erion Veliaj has reacted again from his cell, where he has been arrested since February 10 on charges of corruption and money laundering. He writes that prosecutor Ols Dado has opposed the easing of the security measure for his wife, on the pretext that their 6-year-old son also has 2 grandmothers to take care of.

He adds that "Ols Dado requested that the child be granted orphan status by court decision and the responsibility for raising him be transferred to the grandmothers."

Regarding the accusations against him that he hid a villa in Qerret, Veliaj says that the toys found in his son's beach house are not proof that it is a hidden asset of his and his wife, Ajola Xoxa. The mayor notes that the apartment was purchased by his father-in-law when his son was not yet born and Ajola was not yet married.

Erion Veliaj's full reaction:

Orphan by order of the prosecutor and court decision!

Good morning, my endless friends and well-wishers, who have given me so much love and courage this week!

Do you want to have some fun with Ols Dado's violin at the hostage-taking session at my namesake's slaughterhouse?

When Ajola requested a reduction of the precautionary measure from house arrest to mandatory reporting, due to the need for at least one of the parents to take care of our 6-year-old son, the prosecutors' reasoning was that our son has two grandmothers! So, by court decision, the child is assigned orphan status and the responsibility to raise him passes to the grandmothers! They can replace the role of the parents to take him to and from school, or to accompany him to extracurricular activities, said the failed violinist. The grandmothers could even hold the lines to buy food according to their wishes, despite the fact that they have no idea whether the grandmothers are in good health, drive a car or not, to become maids for the child declared an "orphan" and without access to a bank account by order of Spaku, and so on.

But beyond these, let's say that the poor grandmothers would carry out Spaku's order and would also learn to drive, for the prosecutors, the relationship between the grandmother and the grandson is almost the same as the relationship between the mother and the son, to the point that the grandmother is the person of the house even when she does not live with her daughter, the son's mother. Normal so far, the point of view about the grandmother, but how is it possible then that the same brain that reasoned like this, also reasons that the finding of the grandson's toys in the grandmother's house on the beach, which the deceased grandfather bought, when the grandson had not been born and the daughter had not yet married, constituted flagrant proof that that house is in fact a hidden asset of ours!

So, the same prosecutors, who are at the same time parents themselves (I don't know if their children have grandmothers or not, but they certainly should), think that grandmothers are people of the house and can take on the role of mother to their grandson without any reasonable doubt, but it can never happen in grandmothers' houses that toys belonging to a 6-year-old grandson are found. Even more so, on the beach, where I don't believe my son is the only kid who can't wait to go to his grandmother's house to meet his toys.

And I have a question: Even if it is our house, which only the brain of a lunatic like the violinist I fell into could know why I would have to hide it in my declaration if I had it, would the photos of my son's toys or the fact that my wife invites her friends to her mother's beach house for her birthday be enough evidence?

Surely yes, but not in a democracy and never, ever in Europe.

A big hug to all the grandparents! Fill your grandchildren with love, because children raised with warmth don't become complex failures like the tired construction notary that fell to my lot! Heads up!
