Former Finance Minister Arben Malaj, speaking about the Prime Minister's clash with the judges, said that Rama does not respect the separation of powers in every one of his appearances. He added that Albania's problem is corruption and state capture.

Malaj also spoke about the economic situation, saying that despite the reforms, there are also serious warnings.

So if you no longer respect internationals, and the moment you don't listen to the EU and the US, or the IMF telling you to be careful on these points, it's a kind of complacency that could turn into a crisis tomorrow. If you want to govern, I'm the king, it's bad news for Albania. Since there are many people who are making fun of you, someone needs to tell you the truth," he said.
