"Irresponsible Prime Minister", Tabaku reacts to Rama's attacks

Democratic Party MP, Jorida Tabaku, has harshly criticized the government for the way it is managing justice and incinerators.

She invited the Supreme Court to react in a timely manner and follow the standards it has followed previously, emphasizing that the government is violating the rules and favoring its own interests.

"Justice does not have two positions and does not have two faces. I like the decision and I do not comment on it, I do not like it and I attack it ," said Tabaku, denouncing attacks on judges who decide differently from the government as intimidation and pressure.

She criticized the government for stubbornness and lack of responsibility in the current situation.

Regarding the incinerators affair, Tabaku recalled that the government has not followed the recommendations and standards of the European Union, completely ignoring the opposition and the concerns of the progress report.

"The Albanian government, despite warnings, has stubbornly violated standards," said the MP, accusing her of a lack of transparency and failed management of public funds.

Tabaku also emphasized that the Rama government cannot measure success with words, but only with actions, and the 12-year history shows a model of a government that often acts against the law and European standards.

"Regarding justice, I had hoped that the Supreme Court would have reacted in a timely manner and followed the same standards that it has followed in other cases, and I hope that this will actually happen in the future."

Justice does not have two stances and does not have 2 faces and 2 pages. I like the decision and I do not comment on it, I do not like the decision and I attack it.

There should be only one standard, either we don't comment, we share absolutely no concerns, we don't attack, or then we have the standard where according to appetite, justice according to preferences is sometimes preferred and sometimes not.

To me, the attacks in this case against judges who have decided differently from the government are not only unacceptable, but also inconceivable in the situation we find ourselves in.

I considered it intimidation, I considered it pressure, and I hope that the Supreme Court will take action and react more quickly and in a timely manner.

Regarding incinerators, when it first emerged as an issue in 2017-2018, the opposition opposed it not only as a corrupt affair, but also as not in line with European Union standards, this was also stated in the progress report: incineration, I quote, is the least preferred method of waste management and this has been in progress reports for 6 years in a row.

It was opposed by them, the Albanian government was told that this is not the direction you should go, the Albanian government stubbornly decided to violate the standards.

"In fact, the opposition is measured by words, but the government is measured by actions, we have a 12-year history, it's not like they came to power today and told us that they have this strategy today ," Tabaku wrote in her reaction.
