The clash between Adriatik Lapaj and Endri Shabani deepens.
Just a few minutes after the harsh statement of the leader of the "Albania Initiative" Coalition, his ally did not hesitate to react.
Shabani, through a post on the social network "Facebook", ironically responded to Lapaj with the famous poem by Kiço Spirit.
"I took my rifle and went out to the mountain,
To fight for my homeland,
Little did I know, poor thing,
That we were the enemy.
I took my rifle and went out to the mountain
To fight in the storm;
Little did I know, poor thing,
That I was the enemy," writes Shabani.
The cause of the quarrel between Shabani and Lapaj is Zeqir Kordhoni, the uncle of the leader of the Thurje Initiative. He was a candidate on the closed list of Tirana in the May 11 elections. Lapaj and Shabani made a pact to put family members on the closed list and then they would resign and the mandates would be assigned to the open list. But Kordhoni has changed his mind. Today he declared at the CEC that he is withdrawing his resignation and is seeking the mandate.
But Lapaj sees it as a blow from Shabani, as there was a clash over Lapaj's promise that he would refuse the mandate if the coalition only received 1 mandate. But Lapaj changed his mind and this ignited the conflict. Lapaj himself, in a reaction, strongly hit Shabani and his uncle.
"The whole swamp is engaged in how and why I won't go to the Assembly. How much do you fear me?! Oh wretch, I do not accept blackmail or sell myself. Zeqiri (Endri's uncle) and his nephew Endri Shabani, to whom I extended the hand of unity, will not receive a single mandate. Qameti will prevent me from going to Parliament. An entire nation is a witness that Endri Shabani was committed to opening the lists and became a guarantor for his own family members. If Endri Shabani will be remembered like this in public life, may he and his uncle go well ," he wrote.
