After the arrest, "Pamphlet" published information from his family and from sources within the Bablok clan, that the arrest was a scenario of Edi Rama with Lefter Koka and the head of SPAK, Arben Kraja, to create the image that justice was being done and he would was quickly released under "house arrest".
