Former Democratic MP Lefter Maliqi has reacted strongly on social media, denouncing in harsh words what he describes as a caste of incompetents who try to climb into politics and public office through intrigue, servility, and secret relationships.
According to him, the capable are systematically fought by unworthy individuals, who use every form of dishonesty to obtain undeserved benefits.
Maliqi writes that “the righteous sink, but do not drown,” while emphasizing that those who try to overthrow the capable are in fact digging their own political grave. He does not mention names, but the attack is direct against the structures within Albanian politics, which he describes as filled with evil and morally corrupt people.
His statement says that any gain made through mischief will be punished. " Every treachery, intrigue, every unjust gain and misuse will come out of your nostrils. Everything is left to God! Let them strive with their mischief and their wickedness, for the day of punishment and shame will come to you ," he emphasizes.
Maliqi calls this phenomenon “a weed that never dies” and identifies it as one of the main causes of the decay of the political system and society as a whole. His message seems more like a warning to break the silence and start a new phase of denunciations of those who unfairly benefit through clientelistic connections.

The righteous sink but do not drown! The incompetent seek at all costs to kill the capable. The incompetent, through servility, friendship, intrigue and seduction, take unfair advantage of the capable and do not stop fighting the capable with every scheme and evil.
But even though the incompetent have undeserved power through the sweat and toil of the capable, it is certain that they will not succeed!
From your nostrils will come every infidelity, intrigue, every unjust gain and misuse. Everything is left to God! Let them strive with their wickedness and malice, for the day of punishment and shame will come to you. This evil seed has not been eradicated in society, politics and everywhere!
