The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has reacted regarding the change in the Supreme Court's judicial panel examining the file of former DP MP, Ervin Salianji.
In his reaction on social media, Bardhi wrote that this is an unprecedented act. He added that this is the ugliest example of how justice can never be.
Bardhi emphasizes that after a political decision by the Court of Appeals that imprisoned Salianji simply for being an opponent of Edi Rama's regime, everyone expected and expects justice from the Supreme Court. He added that the distortion of the results of the selection draw and the change of the squad within 24 hours, without giving any explanation, is a signal that warns of the continuation of injustice.
Bardhi said that by strongly condemning the manipulation in this specific case, he appeals that honest judges in the Supreme Court not accept being used politically to keep an injustice alive and to be misused for political revenge against opponents of Edi Rama's regime.
"The unprecedented act of changing the panel of judges chosen by lot in the Supreme Court case of colleague Ervin Salianji is the ugliest example of how justice can never be.
