The Minister of Economy, Innovation and Culture, Blendi Gonxhja, who is running for MP on the SP list for Tirana, said that he feels appreciated that people have voted for him and supported him in this race.
The minister's reaction comes at a time when, from the votes counted electronically in Vora and Unit 10 in Tirana, he has received 4,759 votes.
On the show "Dekalog", Gonxha said that he has not yet communicated with Edi Rama.
"This election result is a success for the SP. In my campaign, I was more focused on Kombinat and I held many meetings in those areas where I had greater recognition, such as Vora, where the most votes came from in these elections for me as a candidate on the open list of the SP, so far."
I felt proud but also very grateful to all those who voted for me. This is a very emotional moment, which I am experiencing for the first time.
I have not yet communicated with the socialist leader Edi Rama, but we are in constant contact with the district leaders.
"I still expect to receive votes from the diaspora, the Kamza area, the Kombinati," said Mr. Gonxhja.
