The President of the Republic Bajram Begaj has spoken about his work in the office of the Head of State, as about two years have passed since he took office.
Begaj said that in the role of the President, he will continue to implement the Constitution "with full responsibility, protecting what is written in the constitution in letter and spirit".
He emphasized that the focus will be on helping the country towards integration into the European Union, supporting any reform related to this process.
"I think that the assessment of the president's work should be done by the citizens and the media. As president, I will continue to implement the constitution with full responsibility, protecting what is written in the constitution in letter and spirit.
My focus will be what I have done so far, to implement the constitution, to focus and help in what is the dream of every Albanian, integration in the EU. I will support any reform related to this process, I will support the reform in justice, the rule of law, the fight against corruption and organized crime, I will support the third age, education, young people, this is the spirit that I will carry into my mandate". Begaj told News24.
