The leader of the Agrarian Environmentalist Party, Agron Duka, has spoken about the opposition's political decisions in recent years, admitting that leaving Parliament was a mistake that, according to him, gave an advantage to the majority led by Edi Rama.
Duka stated that he personally did not agree with the parliamentary boycott, while emphasizing that this decision directly influenced the strengthening of the Socialists' power.
According to him, if political life had continued normally and the opposition had remained in democratic institutions, a natural rotation of power would have occurred after eight years of governance.
"I did not agree with leaving Parliament. Let me tell you one thing for sure? If normal political life continued after 8 years, there would be a recycling of power. They and we gave up power, and so did I. The territorial reform, leaving Parliament, were mistakes ," said Duka on the show "This Week".
