The Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Tirana has dismissed the lawsuit filed by DP MP Blendi Himçi against Alesia Balliu.
MP Himçi had accused Democratic Party member Alesia Balliu of defamation. Judge Dritan Hallunaj has deemed the lawsuit filed by Blendi Himçi inadmissible.
We recall that the former Democratic candidate for MP, Alesia Balliu, in a television appearance in November of last year, made strong accusations against the DP and mainly against MP Himçi.
Balliu accused Himçi of paying Flamur Noka to become an MP.
"I have respect for the independent candidate, the fact that the doctor has not managed to get votes in Cërrik is because he is supported by the Çapja-Himçi duo which comes as a result of a bargain made by Noka and Berisha. How can they be voted for? The current situation of the DP today is due to the leadership. After all, they are the candidates of Berisha and the great Noka. Looking at the entire trajectory of this man, I would see a deep loss and I want to emphasize the bargain that he became an MP today, because he paid Flamur Noka to become an MP today. The winner of the Democrats in the Elbasan district was Mr. Sula and not Himçi, he was Flamur Noka's bargainer", Balliu said.
