The last meeting at the Brigades Palace brought strong clashes between Rama and Spiropali, will the former minister come out openly this time?
Edi Rama seems to continue to keep his own under control. After the developments of recent months, where Erion Braçe has shown his ambition for Tirana and does not stop criticizing, while Elisa Spiropali has openly come out against it, Rama has had frequent meetings with the group.
The Brigades Palace seems to have become the "headquarters" of the Socialist Party, after it has held monthly meetings. And on Monday of next week, the socialist group will meet there again.
According to information, the meeting will be held on Monday at 11:00, with Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha and Chief Negotiator Majlinda Dhuka reporting. Hoxha and Dhuka's reporting will focus mainly on Chapter 24: Justice, Freedom and Security.
The last meeting at the Brigades Palace was held on March 28, and at that meeting there were strong clashes between Elisa Spiropali and Edi Rama.
During the Cadastral Chief's report at that meeting, Spiropali intervened, demanding a change in tone towards the MPs. "Have more respect for the MPs, don't talk to us like we are MPs ," she is reported to have said.
At this point, Edi Rama himself intervened. According to sources, he addressed Spiropali with the words: " You don't communicate in my presence, especially when I'm here ."
The clash continued during the presentation of the communication strategy by the Minister of State for Parliamentary Relations, Erjona Ismaili. As she spoke, Spiropali reacted with laughter, while Ismaili addressed her: " Ms. Spiropali, I don't know what you're laughing at ."
Afterwards, Spiropali declared "I'm sorry," as Rama intervened again: " Why are you getting angry? You're worse ."
Also, at another moment when Spiropali was using the phone, there was a call for attention from Rama. But she did not answer initially, but made some facial expressions. Then she turned to Rama: " If you have something to say, say it ." While the prime minister replied: " Don't provoke me or I will throw you out ."
So, at Monday's meeting, all attention will be focused on Spiropali, whether she will participate and whether she will openly show her dissatisfaction. A few days ago, she reacted sharply on Facebook and showed that she does not agree with the situation in the party, but the positions have not been kept within the forums.
