Former MP Ervin Salianji has published a video of clashes between voters during the process of electing the chairman of the Democratic Party in the Korça district.
According to him, the process was interrupted twice, as people who were not on the official lists attempted to participate in the vote.
In a public reaction, Salianji accuses the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, of having made an agreement with Prime Minister Edi Rama to "forgive" the branch of the Democratic Party in Korça to Niko Peleshi.
He emphasizes that the Korça Democrats do not accept interference or impositions from unidentified persons, describing the situation as unacceptable.
"Democrats are brave, not sheep! I congratulate them for not allowing co-government in Korça!"
The Korça Democrats do not accept impositions from people who do not know where they come from and who they serve. It is unacceptable that the Rama-Berisha regime openly demands that the Democratic Party, Korça branch, forgive Niko Peleshi.
The Democrats beat Pelesh with votes; they do not accept that he leads them from behind the scenes, with tricks, tenders and benefits. Korça is not for sale, the Democrats are not used!”, writes Salianji.
