Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his podcast 'Flasim', has chosen to clarify the position of Venice and the European Court of Strasbourg regarding the prosecution's requests for the suspension of members of the Government.
Rama referred to the case of Belinda Balluku, who, at the request of SPAK and a decision of the GJKKO, has been suspended from government functions as Minister of Infrastructure and Deputy Prime Minister.
Rama said that such a decision is unimaginable, both from Venice and the Strasbourg Court, and considered it an unimaginable precedent.
Standing by the thesis that this decision is an intervention of one power against another, Rama said that if Albania were to enter Europe with such a decision given by the GJKKO, this would be outrageous.
While describing this decision as a dangerous absurdity, Edi Rama said he hopes that the Constitutional Court will provide direction to this issue.
The government appealed to the Constitutional Court following the decision of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo (GJKKO) that suspended Belinda Balluku from her duties in connection with the investigations into the Llogara tunnel, while the Deputy Prime Minister, already suspended, has been named as a defendant.

Edi Rama considered the suspension decision a political pressure, while saying that a prosecutor and a judge came together head-to-head and made an unprecedented decision, which he described as a blatant display of democratic and institutional immaturity.

Ky eshte nje presion i hapur qe i bene ky hallexhi Gjykantes Kushtetuese, i paraprine vendimit te saj dhe po i qajne syte, lot po i leshojne jo per Ballukun por per vehten e tij se e ka kthyer shqiperine ne nje cerdhe te madhe, ku lulezojn vetem politikanet, oligarket, drogaxninjet dhe kriminelet hajdute, qe po vjedhin dhe shkaterrojn gjithcka ne kete vend dhe popullit i ka vene shqelmin ne fyt dhe e ka perzen rrugeve te botes. Nuk ka krim me te madh dhe me te rende se sa kjo qe po bene ky monster bashke me kopene e ti te masdhe qe e ndjek nga pas. Ky me te gjithe ata duhet te shkoj sa me shpejt para drejtesise pa perjashtuar ata te PD se te dy palet bashke vjedhin dhe kuvendojn Kjo qe i ka bere ky shqiperise nuk ekziston nuk ekziston ne asnje vend te botes dhe jo ajo qe i beri SPAK dhe GJKKO Ballukut, ate duhet tja beje edhe ketij dhe te gjithe ata qe permenda me siper. Keta jane hajdut dhe kriminel te deklaruar me veprimet e tyre, vjedhin hapur cdo gje qe ju del perpara. Ku jane rruget, investimet prej miliarda Eurosh, i mori shiu, i bllokuan dherat apo edhe ketu e ka fajine gjeologjia ashtu si ne shpirag. Ku jane vendburimet e naftes, kromit, bakrrit, UPTHN Ballsh, institutet shkencore, etj, qe i shkaterruat dhe qe po i vjedhin, kanadezet, turqit dhe soj sorollop bashke me ju qeveritar dhe politikan. Kjo eshte nje vjedhje e hapur, ku jane inceneratoret, ku jane portet, aeroportet, satelitet, ca jane keto para qe hidhen sheshit vetem per tu vjedhur, ku jane tokat qe shiten vetem me nje euro, ku jane hidrocentralet qe po shkaterrohen digat dhe po mbytet populli dhe shkaterrohen pasurite e tij, ku jane resortet qe kane uzurpuar gjithe bregdetin dhe po tenton ti cosh edhe ne zonat malore, ku i ke serat me xhama qe jeni te gjithe ju bashkepronar se edhe energjine ja bleni atyre sa frangu pulen, ku eshte shendetesia, arsimi, kultura se skeni lene gje pa bere ne kete vend. Per ju litari esht pak dhe jo vendimet dhe denimet me 1-5 vite vburg, se keni mbushur me pasurite e shqipetereve bankat ofshore dhe keni blere pasuri ne te gjithe boten, dhe vila ne gjithe territorin shqiptar.
