Debates regarding the issue of the Ombudsman continue in the Albanian Parliament, while the opposition has withdrawn signatures for the candidates and requested the removal of this item from the agenda.
Democratic MP Edi Paloka, during the session, accused the majority of playing with the signatures for the People's Advocate.
He said they do not expect Rama to implement a gentlemen's agreement.
"Do you expect Rama to make a 'gentleman's' agreement? Don't expect it. These people don't follow regulations, laws, or the Constitution!"
We should not prolong this discussion any longer. It is clear here that there is no agreement or that there should be an Assembly. This is how it is being played, that you are playing with signatures. Did you say that you left the process to the opposition?
After seeing that the signatures were collected, you said; we left it to the opposition! Close this next farce and let's move on! ", he said.
