SP with a new team in the Assembly, how are the heads of the parliamentary

The seat left vacant by Niko Peleshi at the head of the SP parliamentary group will be taken over by Taulant Balla.

In the next four years, the Albanian Parliament will once again be led by a man.

Elisa Spiropali will leave the leadership of this institution at the start of the legislature to take over the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, will ascend to the highest position in the Assembly.

Another change has also been made in the position of Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, where Bledi Ccuci will give way to the MP for Durrës, Klodiana Spahiu.

The seat left vacant by Niko Peleshi at the head of the SP parliamentary group will be taken over by Taulant Balla.

After several years of engagement in the government, initially as Minister of Interior and then Minister of State for Relations with Parliament, Balla now returns to the leadership of the Socialist MPs.

Three ministers from the old cabinet will head parliamentary committees. Ulsi Manja will resume leadership of the Laws Committee, acting Minister of Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani will head the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Arbian Mazniku will head the Committee on Territorial Administrative Reform that will be re-established in the Assembly.

The new legislature in Parliament will also begin with a restructuring of the standing committees. There will no longer be 8 standing committees, but 11, of which seven will be led by the majority and four by the opposition.

Committee on Natural Resources, Infrastructure and Sustainable Development - led by the SP

Commission for Human Rights and Public Media - led by the opposition

The Committee on Agriculture, Food and Rural Development is led by the SP.

The Committee on Culture, Tourism and Diaspora is led by the opposition.

Committee on Europe and Foreign Affairs - led by the Socialist Party

Committee for Civic Initiatives, Cooperation and Institutional Oversight - headed by SP/TCH
