Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the podcast "Flasim", focused on the internal organizational process in the Socialist Party and the political situation in the country.
He announced that the Socialist Party is involved in an internal campaign to select leaders at all levels, from polling stations to municipalities, emphasizing that this process also serves as a form of communication with supporters and citizens.
Rama added that the public debate, according to him, is not focusing on the country's issues, but on political clashes, while acknowledging that Albania still has problems and work to do, however, he emphasized that "Albania's affairs, as a whole, are in line."
In the end, he focused on the European integration process, rejecting claims of blocking negotiations.
"We are involved in a process, in an internal campaign in the Socialist Party, to elect those who will be the leaders of our organizations throughout the territory of Albania, from the voting center level, to the administrative unit level and to the municipality level.
But, in the meantime, this is important for these notes, because it is not simply an internal campaign of organization and energizing, but it is also a communication campaign between us and between us and all those who support us, who believe in us or who have the desire and need to listen to us and for us to listen to them, as we live in a time when it is becoming increasingly difficult to learn the truth or to obtain direct information regarding a fact that interests you.
The opposite happens! You are immediately flooded with half-truths, which are also the biggest lies, by outright lies, which are made up and fabricated words, and by all kinds of comments, which at the end of the day obscure more than they help in the search for the truth, and are said by everyone, heard by everyone, but what is most worrying, as far as I am concerned and as far as we are concerned, is that there is no talk, no communication, and no discussion about the affairs of Albania.
On the contrary, the affairs of Albania are identified only with a miserable political struggle and with a continuous effort of everyone who is on the opposite side to us, who govern Albania, to do their best to cover the affairs of Albania with the tar of their despair, with the mud of all their hatred, anger, and resentment. Albania has problems, of course. We have a lot of work to do, no doubt; we have not done every job properly and sufficiently, there is no question about that, but Albania is working and the affairs of Albania, as a whole, are in line.
"As against, and I close this note, the most important historical process of membership in the European Union is on the line, with negotiations continuing and, in the meantime, everything that is said when it comes to negotiations is related to the big lie that: "they are blocked", "they are stopped", "they are hindered", due to the unreasonableness of all those who aim to hinder Albania to fight the government. The simple truth is that this great work of Albania continues day after day and day after day and, soon, again, as we had in the process of opening the chapters, we will have very good news for everyone", said Rama.
