Rudina Hajdari, former Democratic Party MP, said that December 12 should serve as a moment of reflection and unity for Democrats, facing the current government led by Edi Rama.
December 12th is the founding day of the Democratic Party and, according to Hajdari, it is an extraordinary day for the Democrats.
" All those who are part of the membership love the Democratic Party despite the challenges it faces. But it is important to be united and reflect on the role we have in taking the country's destiny into our own hands ," Hajdari said on "A2CNN."
She emphasized that the DP is at a key moment, facing a government that, according to her, has completely lost legitimacy.
" We need to show comparisons with other countries, explain to citizens how their taxes are being stolen, and offer clear alternatives for managing the country ," Hajdari added, underlining that the DP must have a clear and professional communication strategy.
According to her, the Democratic Party cannot allow the debate within it to lose focus on the government and everyday corruption. " Rama knows that the DP is not unified in its messages. If the opposition were more focused and professional, it could be in power today ," said Hajdari.
