The CEC has given the mandate of deputy Andrea Manos, who will replace Ervin Salinji, the latter is in prison.
The former chairman of the Democratic Party Branch of Korça, Andrea Mano, will replace the former democratic deputy Ervin Salianji in the Parliament of Albania.
The Court of Appeal gave the decision for Salianji, upholding the decision of the Court of First Instance to sentence him to 1 year in prison, under the charge of "False accusation" on the "Babale" case.
The former deputy of the Democratic Party, who considers the punishment unjust and without evidence, claims that the documents of the file and the decision of the Appeal were not made available to him before he was imprisoned.
According to him, the Prosecutor's Office and the Court have rushed to execute the decision, stressing that one should wait for the clarification of the decision or recourse to the Supreme Court.
On September 30, the Parliament was notified of the final sentence by the Tirana Appeal, which also led to the loss of Salianj's final mandate.
