SPAK has requested the Court to seize 32 assets and bank accounts of Ervis Martin and his family members, while there is no investigation or trial process for his disappearance.
With this request, SPAK has created the first illegal procedural precedent, with seizure before criminal trial, without any supporting evidence, whether these assets of Ervis Martin and his family members were obtained from illegal activities, when he had a licensed betting business.
The disappearance of Ervis Martin was reported by his family on August 11, 2022 to the police, but the latter informed them that they had information from many sources that he may have illegally left Albania for Dubai and that they would search for him.
The furore over his disappearance was accompanied by media reports, undertones of statements by police chiefs, anti-crime chiefs, SHISH and those close to Ervis Martini, that he had been trapped and disappeared by Durrës gangs, who have ties to the SP leadership, the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
These accusations, addressed, alarmed Babloku, who suddenly began personal movements to divert suspicions, bringing into play the police dome, with deceptions about the fate of Ervis Martin; when the prime minister has not been engaged with such concern and stress, nor for the disappearances of businessmen, other well-known characters, nor even for children and minors.
On September 7, 2022, during the presentation of Director Muhamet Rrumbullaku as Police Director, he gave him this ultimatum: - Within 3 months, Ervis Martinaj must be found alive or dead, without excuses on your part, to put an end to the crazy speculations that are circulating.
While Muhamet Rumbullaku replied: - We have details about the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj and we know his fate, but we are collecting other evidence and will reveal the incident within 3 months.
On October 12, 2022; Muhamet Rrumbullaku was asked by the media what had been done to reveal the fate of Ervis Martinaj, and whether it would be achieved within the 3-month deadline set by the Prime Minister.
While he replied: - We are working, we have engaged special tools and structures that are following this case, we are making good progress and we are not afraid of anyone who may have been implicated, because we are carrying out the assigned task.
Regarding the fate of the "king of gambling", the police lied (there are no reports), saying that several anti-crime investigations and checks by the FNSH had allegedly been carried out in Durrës and Shijak, where families had informed about suspicions that he had disappeared from gangs in this area.
On December 7, 2022, Edi Rama's term ended and Ervis Martinaj's fate has not been revealed and has not been revealed for 2 and a half years, while the prime minister and the police have not spoken about his fate.
