The United States of America has made it clear to politics that reform in justice is a priority for them.
Today the US Chargé d'Affaires David Wisner met with his counterpart in the EU, Ambassador Luigi Soreca, where they discussed a coordination between them regarding the diplomatic agenda in Tirana.
Both diplomats agreed to step up efforts to implement justice reform. They have become enemies of this reform because it has no return.
Chargé d'Affaires David Wisner met with his EU counterpart, Ambassador Luigi Soreca, to discuss the strong partnership between the United States and the EU in support of Albania's Euro-Atlantic integration. They discussed the need for continued progress in justice reform and the rule of law, as well as issues related to Albania's EU membership ," the US embassy announced.
The reform is being attacked and condemned in recent weeks by former Prime Minister Berisha and former President Ilir Meta. Meta calls it ramaform, while Berisha has trouble with SPAK. The two diplomats seem to have sent a clear message to both of them and all other critics that no one can play with this process.
