DP leader Sali Berisha declared that DP member Anila Aliaj was not expelled from the party after the heated debate with Flamur Noka. Although Aliaj stated in a post on social media that she had left, Berisha denied this, emphasizing that the Democratic Party is an open force.
Berisha further said that Aliaj has the option to appeal against the injustice he claims has been done to him.
"That lady who spoke to Noka has not left the party, no one can remove any member or sympathizer for saying these things to Berisha or Noka."
This does not exist in this party, the lady cannot be expelled from the party. In the extreme case that it happened, let's assume, the lady has an open path to complain about the injustice she may claim has been done to her.
"She chose the media, she made her own choice, but to my knowledge she has not been excluded, there is no decision from any forum. We are the DP of free thought," said the leader of the DP.
