Why did Prime Minister Edi Rama not react to the meeting with Erdogan's minister? What demands did they put on the table?
Today Prime Minister Edi Rama received another ultimatum from his Turkish "brother" Rexhep Tayip Erdogan, regarding the 'war' against persons and organizations connected to Fetullah Gülen.
After the Turkish president built the hospital in Fier and helped Rama in the campaign, the prime minister promised in return the extermination of FETO in our country. But Rama closed only one kindergarten and one gymnasium, not continuing, after the harsh reaction of the Americans.
This seems to have annoyed the Turkish sultan, who sent another greeting to the Albanian prime minister that the Gülenists should not flourish in Albania.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan arrived in Tirana yesterday. He made his first visit to the Namasgja Mosque in the middle of Tirana. What stood out is that no representative of the Muslim Community was present.
The mosque is being built by a foundation linked to Erdogan, but the Turkish president accuses the leaders of KMSH of being linked to FETO and therefore the inauguration of the mosque has been blocked for years. It is learned that in the meetings the minister had with Igli Hasan and Edi Rama, he repeated the request that measures be taken against the dome of the Muslim Community. This is an old request, but it has been rejected so far by the Albanian government.
Likewise, in the meetings he had, there were also requests to close the organizations, schools, hospitals and media that are suspected to be financed by Gülen. This was accepted by Fidan himself in the conference he had with his counterpart Hasani. " We discussed with my colleague about other topics such as the war against terror or other regional issues. We discussed about the cleaning of the last remnants of FETO that remained in Albania, therefore we showed the sensitivity that Turkey has towards this issue.
