Ilir Meta, President of the PL, in an interview given from prison cell 313 where he is in detention by decision of the GJKKO, states that if early elections are held for the Municipality of Tirana, he will support the best candidate from the opposition.
In the interview for MCN TV, Meta emphasized that SPAK has zero electoral influence, while considering it a structure that is used politically by the majority.
"If SPAK had real electoral influence, i.e. the popularity of the Euro-Atlantic "leader", the ardent supporter of SPAK would not have ended up with 1432 votes when even his brother-in-law has more employees than that."
"Of course, SPAK influences Rama's blind tool, just as the police influence elections by prosecuting those who denounce electoral crimes. SPAK also signs kidnappings of opposition members on Rama's orders, proceedings for intimidating and intimidating purposes, and every action is directed by Rama, even every news item for the media," says Meta.

We demand the trial of the case be started as soon as possible to show all Albanians that not only was my kidnapping criminal, but also the investigation that has been such as everything fabricated by the Drug Lord and blindly implemented by his mercenaries.
They are making every illegal and absurd effort by postponing and dragging out the investigations for the second time, even after they made official two weeks ago the farcical accusations drafted by Edi Rama at the Socialist Party Assembly on May 7, 2022.
If there was evidence or a criminal fact against me, the trial would have been held in a timely manner and there would have been no need for Rama and Dumani to carry out that barbaric kidnapping, to terrorize the opposition who not only denounce Edi Rama's crimes and horrific corruption but also condemn Dumani for not seeing and understanding his "intellectual" crimes like the incinerator that every child understands.
Or why he hasn't sent a letter of recommendation to his mentor Charles McGonigal in the US for two years.
Z. Meta ju, njësoj si Z. Berisha hidhni akuza të forta ndaj SPAK. Ju falenderuat dhe i quajtët heronj 8 mijë votuesit për ju, por a keni bërë ndonjë analizë nëse ka ndikuar qëndrimi i juaj ndaj SPAK në rënien drastike të Partisë së Lirisë në numrin e votave?
Fare sepse SPAK-u ka zero ndikim pasi ka zero pavarësi.
Nëse SPAK-u do kishte ndikim real elektoral, pra popullaritet “lideri” euroatlantik, përkrahësi i zjarrtë i SPAK nuk do kishte përfunduar me 1432 vota kur edhe kunati i tij ka më shumë të punësuar se kaq.
Sigurisht SPAK ndikon si vegël e verbër e Ramës siç ndikon edhe policia në zgjedhje që procedon denoncuesit e krimeve zgjedhore. Edhe SPAK firmos rrëmbime opozitareësh me urdhër të Ramës, procedime për qëllime frikësuese dhe shtantazhuese e çdo veprim e bën me regji të Ramës, madje edhe çdo lajm për mediat.
Rasti më i freskët është keqpërdorimi për zgjedhjet në Shkodër.
E thërret ish-Kryetarin e Bashkisë, Z. Bardh Spahia para zgjedhjeve disa herë për një çështje të rëndomtë dhe lajmëron gjithë mediat, ndërsa Kryetarin e Bashkisë, Z. Benet Beci e merr të pandehur 3 javë para zgjedhjeve të 11 Majit, por këtë lajm nuk e bën publik.
Kujt i shërbejnë këto 2 standarde? Vetëm Edi Ramës dhe grabitjes së zgjedhjeve nga ai.
Po kështu ndërhyrja vetëm pas zgjedhjeve në Durrës kur kërkesat për arrestim nga Antimafia kishin ardhur që në Mars kujt i shërbyen? Vetëm Edi Ramës.
Z. Berisha derimë tani nuk ka treguar asnjë sinjal se ka në plan afatshkurtër për analizë të rezultatit të zgjedhjeve, por ju i keni dhënë porosi strukturave tuaja për të bërë një analizë të rezultatit? Ju vetë keni një arsyetim për rezultatin e dobët të subjektit tuaj?
Z. Berisha bën shumë mirë që përqëndrohet te delegjitimimi i farsës dhe terrorit zgjedhor se Partia Demokratike ka rolin kryesor në këtë proces.
Edhe ne këtë kemi prioritet kryesor.
Por sigurisht edhe analizimin e rezultateve të kandidatëve tanë pasi subjekti ynë nuk ka garuar në këto zgjedhje në kuptimin e mirëfilltë dhe logo jonë nuk ka qenë në fletën e votimit.
Ne kemi patur vetëm 4 kandidatë në listë të mbyllur dhe vetëm 8 në listë të hapur nga 140 kandidatë që kemi patur në 2021 kur është votuar me logon e LSI.
Ju vet, keni dalë më i votuari aty ku jeni aktualisht, duket që keni punuar edhe me personat që janë aty. Por a jeni i kënaqur me ekipin tuaj jashtë?
Jo, as kam punuar këtu dhe as kam patur mundësi të punoj se mua këtu më lejohet të takoj vetëm për ping-pong 3 shqiptarë dhe 2 të huaj dhe asnjë njeri tjetër.
Por më vjen keq realisht që kjo është qendra më e suksesshme në këto zgjedhje për mua pasi duhet të ishin shumë të tjera ku banojnë dhe votojnë drejtuesit e Partisë së Lirisë.
Për ekipin jashtë kjo ishte një përvojë e madhe për të ardhmen.
Z. Meta, a e justifikojnë numrin e mandateve që do të keni në shtator në Parlament, numri i votave që keni marrë më 11 Maj. (që ka marrë PL në të gjithë vendin)?

We are preparing for the upcoming local elections and why not the early ones. For the early elections in the Municipality of Tirana, we will support the best opposition candidate.
What will happen with your case?
These days we are appealing the absurd decision of the Supreme Court to the Constitutional Court against the arrest measure and then immediately heading to Strasbourg where I am certain that my criminal kidnapping will be the most serious precedent to which the Strasbourg Court will refer in the future.
The Strasbourg Court's stance against the arrest of Mr. Thoma Gëllçi is just the beginning of the discrediting of the captured and police-like justice of this regime that has no connection with the rule of law, the Constitution, and the European Convention on Human Rights.
This is the justice that only guarantees the impunity of Edi Rama and the electoral crimes that keep Rama in power.
