The democratic MP Jorida Tabaku stated that the vote of the diaspora should be a guaranteed possibility and not a subject that is still being debated.
From the Summit organized by the women of the Albanian diaspora, Tabaku said that the diaspora has an untapped potential and the income brought to our country this year was at its peak.
"The latest data show that the incomes from the diaspora this year have been at their peak, at least for the first 6 months they have reached the value of 440 million euros, which is the second income after tourism in Albania, which will says that there is an extraordinary untapped potential by diapsora in general but also by the Albanian girls, women and ladies who live there", said Jorida Tabaku.
The PD MP emphasized that there should be equal opportunities for all citizens, both in terms of voting and entrepreneurship, avoiding corruption and creating a competitive atmosphere.
"You face other extraordinary challenges but you still decide to be here with your heart and mind and invest here. I really hope that this extraordinary value will be translated into concrete acts by the government, by the Municipality of Tirana and that at the end of this Summit we will come up with some proposals.
