Prime Minister Edi Rama, also the leader of the Socialist Party, returned to calls for citizens to not vote rather than to throw their votes into the swamp, as he describes the 'Great Albania Alliance' coalition led by Sali Berisha.
"With a thought in mind on the 11th. The meeting with history requires that we all gather at 5, at the SP. Whoever cannot make this leap, let him cast his vote for one of the candidates on the preferential list, a vote there because we have given all the regions the groups and teams, the opportunities that the right, the left, women, girls and boys, from their area, from the nearby area, as they want. They have all the choices. If they cannot do this either, let them not go to the swamp but stay at home", said Rama.
Prime Minister Edi Rama mocked the opposition when he said that it is not hygienic for citizens to vote for the swamp.
A follower, who asked him to leave with honor and make way for the young, Rama replied: "This is decided by the people who don't have your mind. He is a very great judge, supreme sovereign. Agreed."
Responding to a commentator who criticized him, Rama said that if he is not going to vote for the Socialist Party, it is better not to vote at all than to vote for the swamp, as according to him it is not hygienic from a political, civic and national point of view.
"I also urge you not to vote, since your mind is in a swamp and since you have no temptation to vote for me and the Socialist Party and vote with the majority for Albania in the EU, do not vote at all. At least do not go and throw yourself into the swamp, because it is something that is not hygienic from a political, civic and national point of view. I make this appeal to you. Then we will leave the rest for later," said the head of government.
