The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, during his speech from the window of the apartment where he is suffering the security measure "house arrest", called for a great unity among the democrats.
Berisha emphasized that he will accept anyone, regardless of the opposing thoughts or opinions they may share. Since almost the majority of the democrats have joined his group, there is a possibility that the message of unification is for the former leader of the DP, Lulzim Basha, despite the fact that such a union seems impossible.
"I invite every democrat to join us in diversity because those thoughts, those opinions, those problems that can separate us from each other are microscopic compared to the big issues that unite us.
Democrats and democrats, I must remind you that our motto of unity in diversity is the most powerful motto of DP modernization. It is the motto of turning this party into a true party of the most precious values of freedom.
My friends, I remind you and every Albanian that among others, one of the most correct definitions of freedom is that my freedom ends there and the freedom of others begins.
In this context, I invite every democrat to join us in diversity because those thoughts, those opinions, those problems that can separate us from each other are microscopic compared to the big issues that unite us ", said Berisha among others.
