Dear Mr. Berisha,
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that on 19 July 2022, after careful consideration, the Home Secretary personally ordered that you be removed from the United Kingdom on grounds of criminality and corruption on the basis that your presence in the United Kingdom is not considered favorable to the public good as a result of the assessment that you have clear links to organized crime groups and criminals who have posed a threat to public safety in Albania and the UK and that you are willing to use these links to further beyond your political ambitions and the assessment that you have used your elected positions to engage in corruption and criminal behavior to enrich yourself and your inner circle, in particular your former electoral adviser Damir Fazlliç,which you then defended when evidence of criminality emerged.
The decision was certified by the Home Secretary under section 2C of the Special Immigration Appeals Commission Act 1997. The effect of this is that any review of your exemption can, on application, be undertaken by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC). .
