Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting today with socialist mayors, as part of the tour "For the affairs of Albania." Among other things, the prime minister's focus was on the work of the Cadastre and the address system.
He asked municipalities to establish a legal aid office for the Cadastre, acknowledging that citizens' complaints are justified. Rama stressed that there are many problems with the Cadastre and that the opening of legal aid offices in municipalities will make things easier for citizens.
"The Cadastre, in cooperation with each municipality, but here your commitment is needed, should build priority legalization plans. In order to legalize the process and make it fairer and more transparent for applicants by establishing a system where those who have applied before are the first to receive an answer, as well as defining priority areas. Let's have better joint and coordinated work. Municipalities must definitely open a legal aid office for the cadastre. There are many complaints about the cadastre, but many of them come from not completing the application in a regular legal manner. There is no problem for municipalities to open a legal aid office specifically for the cadastre and legalization service. It is something that will maximally facilitate citizens in understanding how a legalization is done. The Minister of Local Government will follow this up ," said Rama.
Regarding the address system, Rama demanded serious commitment from municipalities and also warned of penalties for citizens who refuse to cooperate with the relevant authorities.
"Another important point is the work to finalize the address system, asking all of you to engage very seriously in that part of the work that belongs to the municipalities. Finalization will require the engagement of individuals and at certain points in the work plan there will be a penalty point for those who do not cooperate with the local government to become part of the address system ," he added.

Nese nuk pergjigjen, nuk eshte as problem dhe fundi i dynjase. Nese ka ndonje paqartesi le te shkruaje ketu i gjati se ja sqarojme me hollesisht si zgjidhet ky problem
