Kosovo Police conducted an operation in Kaçanik yesterday morning, in connection with the murder of officer Muhamed Lika.
Rejhan Bela, who is suspected of committing the murder of police officer Muhamet Lika, has been sent to detention for 1 month following the court's decision. The other arrested are expected to appear in court today.
The murder was committed in 47 seconds.
According to the file, on 01.04.2025, at around 23:00, in Kaçanik, respectively on the 2nd floor, of the building's entrance, the minor, in collaboration with Haki Bela, Rilind Murati, Vatan Çaka, Edmond Lika, Shkëlqim Kuka and Diamand Gashi, intentionally and with prior preparation, killed Sergeant Muhamet Lika.
"The victim, after finishing his working hours at 22:53, on his way to his apartment, where he was continuously followed by adults to the dining room of his apartment, where after they entered the apartment building where he lived by climbing the stairs, the minor Rejhan Bela went up from behind and after the victim entered the building, the minor also entered after him and upon meeting the deceased, he shot at him with a firearm, four 9.19 mm caliber cartridges were found at the scene. From the wounds received by the victim Muhamet Lika at the Family Medicine Center in Kaçanik, the medical teams determined his death, which came as a result of wounds from firearm shells. According to the file, from the moment the suspect entered the apartment building until the moment he left, 47 seconds were recorded according to the camera footage.
"From the moment the minor Rejhan entered the building until he left, there were 47 seconds, then at around 10:58 p.m., from the security cameras, he was seen running back from where he had come after committing the murder, fleeing in the direction of the "Dukagjini" bar ," the file states.

After securing the evidence, the file also includes a conversation between the suspects in the murder of police officer Muhamet Lika.
According to the file, the main suspect in the murder, Rejhan Bela, after killing the policeman, left the scene and met Rilind Murat, who is heard telling him "Bravo, get out."
