The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, said that the resignations of the three Serbian policemen are a direct result of threats and constant pressure from Serbia.
She also added that these attitudes reflect Milosevic's tactics.
"The resignation of the policemen of the Serbian community is a direct result of constant threats and intimidation from Serbia, a proof that its policies continue to reflect Milosevic's tactics. We will continue to ensure full inclusion in all institutions and a safer one for everyone", Osmani wrote on Twitter.
The head of EULEX in Kosovo, Giovanni Pietro Barbano, expressed concern about these resignations. Likewise, the German ambassador, Jorn Rohde, reacted by saying that a multi-ethnic state should also have such police.
Some Serbs voluntarily became part of the Police establishment, but they received opposition from violent exponents in the North.
