The Hague requested 45 years in prison for the leaders of the UKÇ

Former Minister of Integration, Majlinda Bregu, has reacted to the claim that the Special Prosecution has sought against the former leaders of the UKÇ. 

"Terribly shameful!", Bregu writes in a reaction on social media.

The Hague Prosecution has requested a sentence of 45 years for each of the former KLA leaders during the closing statements session.

"The SPO is seeking a conviction for specific individuals, not for the general staff, but for specific individuals. The SPO is seeking conviction for all counts of the indictment, for 45 years, based on the individual contributions made by each of the individuals," West stated.

Chief Prosecutor Kimberly West emphasized that the request is for the individual responsibility of each person, not for the General Staff, and includes all counts of the indictment.
