The mayor of Leposaviç, Lulzim Hetemi, dismissed the deputy mayor of the municipality, Dragana Miletiç.
Her dismissal came after the publication of images where she was seen consuming narcotics inside the office.
In relation to the event, the Basic Prosecutor's Office has also reacted, which has authorized the Kosovo Police to undertake all investigative actions related to the investigation of the case of Miletic, who is suspected of having consumed drugs.
"The Basic Prosecutor's Office in Mitrovica announces the opinion that in relation to the publication of the video recording of the National portal, published on January 29, 2024, in order to illuminate all the facts and circumstances, it has authorized the Kosovo Police - Directorate for the Investigation of Narcotics Trafficking (DHTN) ) in Pristina, to undertake all investigative actions related to the investigation of this case, which is related to the persons involved who are seen in the published videos, including the identification of all persons, then the collection of evidence - video recordings of the National portal , and other relevant evidence that is necessary for the investigation and clarification of this case, in terms of the criminal offense "Unauthorized purchase, possession, distribution and sale of narcotics, psychotropic and analogous substances" from article 267 in relation to article 275 paragraph 1 item 1.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo", it is stated in the notification of the Prosecutor's Office.
