Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has received a letter from the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, in which he thanks her for her commitment to friendship with the US and her courageous leadership.
According to the Presidency, in his letter, President Trump evaluates Kosovo's decision to accept citizens from third countries as an indicator of readiness for cooperation with the US, emphasizing that this step reflects the strength and compassion of the Kosovar people.
"The United States and Kosovo share a deep bond, based on mutual respect, shared democratic values, and a vision for a peaceful and prosperous future. Your commitment to strengthening this bond has not gone unnoticed ," President Trump emphasizes in his letter, reports "Telegrafi".
He expresses confidence that the partnership between the two countries will deepen further in the coming years and describes President Osmani as a true friend of the United States.
At the end of the letter, President Trump conveys to President Osmani greetings and best wishes from First Lady, Melania Trump.
