The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani met with the British MP Alicia Kearns, where she thanked her for her support to Kosovo.
Osmani expressed her gratitude for the continuous commitment to support Kosovo.
She recalled the challenges that Kosovo is facing and emphasized "the importance of unified international efforts to oppose such acts of terrorism and aggression not only for the security of the citizens of Kosovo, but also for regional stability and beyond".
Osmani said that the investigations of the local authorities so far prove that Serbia is behind the September 24 attack in Banjska, Zvecani, and requested that punitive measures be taken against Serbia.
"Deputy Alicia Kearns is an outstanding lawyer for Kosovo, so we expect her commitment to be in the function of presenting the real situation here, relying on arguments and facts, as she always does," Osmani said .
Meanwhile, Deputy Kearns emphasized her personal commitment to continue supporting Kosovo, but also the commitment of the United Kingdom to work closely in promoting peace and stability.
In a post on Facebook, Osmani writes that Kosovo is stronger with allies like Britain.
"Welcome to Kosovo, MP Alicia Kearns! The people of Kosovo are sincerely grateful for your daily work in support of Kosovo and the affirmation of the truth. Kosovo is stronger with allies like you", writes Osmani.
